The Golden Circle is a neo-Nazi paramilitary group in Pesmaria founded by the remnants of the Third Reich as a political movement. They hid the fact that they were Nazis until the 1970s, and after this, the Golden Circle was banned after Mex Papadopoulos's rise to power. The group went underground to continue.
History[]
Around the later years of World War II, the Germans were being defeated by the Allies, and they withdrew from Pesmaria. Governed by an authoritarian king, however, some remnants chose to stay and continue promoting their beliefs.
They formed a political movement, and the Golden Circle was born. Before the 70s, they were disguised as a "nationalist Pesmarian movement" when in reality, they were Nazis. In the 70s, they finally came out with their beliefs and identified themselves as national socialists.
When Mex rose to power in 1980, Mex banned the movement and sent the Pesmarian Military to arrest their members. As a result, they went underground and began as a paramilitary movement.
In the 80s and 90s, they were responsible for terrorist attacks across the country.
In 2016, Rico arrives in Pesmaria to investigate James's disappearance, but he can choose The Golden Circle from the beginning of the game.
