The TechMach Udarnik is a vehicle in IronClaw's Just Cause X: Global eXhange series.

This Soviet jet was designed in the 1970's as a mean of supporting tank armadas with close bombing runs during their strive for breaching the Fulda Gap. But WWIII did not occur (at least in the 20th century), so Udarnik was never used as intended. It saw some action during Afghanistan conflict and some other local wars in post-Soviet space, and is widely used by Kyungastani Military Forces to suppress the opposition. It's one of the most prominent vehicles used by Gazibagandov's regime, as it's overall strategy is to wipe Democratic forces by continous artillery barrages and air strikes, and the Military has large stockpiles of this planes left by the Soviet Union.

It's a decently powerful plane till the end of Act II, when American and Russian forces show up as well as the Black Hand. While unsuitable for air superiority missions (since it only has 20-mm autocannons for "dogfighting" when similar jets have missiles), it's pretty deadly against ground targets since it drops large payloads of bombs, akin to U7 Dravec. It has a good top speed, but lacking maneuverability.

  • It's made by Soviet TechMach Bureau.
  • It's a bomber version of the real life Mig-25.
  • "Udarnik " literally means "Stryker" in Russian.
