The TechMach Romashka is a vehicle in IronClaw's Just Cause X: Global eXhange series.

It was developed and made it into production in 1989 - and, ironically, after three more years the Soviet Union collapsed. These howitzers were still manufactured until 2003, but then the newly created URGA consortium discontinued it's lines for more modern, missile artillery platforms.

Romashkas are still widely used by Kyungastani military for artillery barrages of rebeliious towns and villages, most commonly deployed in groups of four.

UOD on the other hand has only a bunch of captured howitzers, and prefer to use them "solo". utilizing hit-and-run tactics on Kyungastani hardpoints, bases and FOBs.

This self-propelled howitzer is quite powerful, and if positioned right, can destroy entire bases rom stand-off ranges, not even triggering the HEAT. It's also the only artillery piece in Act I. Obviously, it's ainn't fast or maneuvrable.

  • It's made by Soviet TechMach
  • It is based on real life South African G6 Howitzer
  • It's also very similar to Cockroach IFV of the Endwar
  • "Romahka" means "Chamomile" in Russian.
  • It is a tradition to name self-propelled howitzers after flowers in Soviet and RF military
