It's the smartphone manufacturing division of the Tube Corporation.
TubePhone 6975M[]
As of the summer of 2017, their latest phone is TubePhone 6975M.
Advertised hardware features:
- 120 GB memory.
- 5.5 GB RAM.
- 6-core APU.
- 4 audio ports.
- 3 USB ports.
- 2 speakers.
- 16 MP camera.
- 5000 mAh battery.
- 2 slots for removable microSD cards.
Advertised software features:
- Compatibility with Tube SmartShades v.6 or above.
- Troll mode 4.0.
- Among other things, it makes all icons look like pointless colored spots to anyone who isn't wearing Tube SmartShades v.6 or above.
- It has no "apps", or "programs". Instead it has "pograms".
Other features:
- It's available in 20 colors.
- Water resistance (up to 2 meters).
- Optional additional hardware is available for extra cost.
- Larger external speakers that can be plugged into the USB ports.
- Headphones.
- Shock-resistant rubber frame.
- The battery and possibly other pieces of hardware can be replaced by opening the phone. This voids the warranty if done outside of an official Tube electronics repair store. There are 6 screws on the back, each covered by plastic to keep them from being opened.
Reception and controversy:
While the 6975M has been praised for not only keeping the ports people want, but also adding additional ones for use with friends, their advertisements seem to have been purposely designed to hide the fact that the phones body is quite a bit thicker in the middle than it is on the sides. This is something they had to do in order to fit the 5000 mAh battery and 120 GB memory.
