Sosaria is a country in the JC universe. This article describes it as a part of the Karthstan project. The country is never visited, but is shown in 100 Minutes.
History[]
Their history is unknown, according to 100 Minutes, it was a part of Yugoslavia and then broke off in 1990. They then begin to smear Sosaria for not being a member of the European Union. Their Motto is "Fraternity, anger, and freedom".
Policies[]
According to 100 Minutes, the republic has a xenophobic view of former Yugoslavia and their neighbour, Croatia. As a result, Croatians are the poorest in Sosaria.
Sosaria also has a lenient firearms policy, allowing citizens to own fully automatic weapons.
Education and welfare are fully payed for by taxation in Sosaria.
Law enforcement is generally effective. Police cars in Sosaria have a white and black colour, with black taking the center of the vehicle and white taking rear and front ends.
Sosaria has serious problems with prisons, which are overcrowded and education is seriously failing.
