A main multi-role jet fighter of the U.S. Air Force of the past decade, this plane has finally been replaced by its more modern and advanced counterparts by 2020. Many "third world countries" (and some wannabe-superpowers) desire this jet for their militaries, but very few are granted to get it. Surprisingly, Kyungastan is one of those rare exceptions. The Regime has acquired some Skyshields through Black Hand connections and Saudi Arabia black market (officially, those planes got "lost" in war with Yemeni rebels). These jets are stationed at Koska island, patrolling it's airspace, and are only called during highest of HEAT levels, replacing the old Soviet Udarniks.
While it's a top-tier jet during Act I (and it's very hard to get by then), it becomes somewhat of a moderate power in Act II, and utterly useless in Act III of the JCX. The Skyshield has a good speed and maneuverability, and decent firepower, but all in all, it has pretty "normal" stats by 2020 standards. In comparison, it has a way better performance than the Dravec, but is somewhat worse then a Sokol.
- It's made Rage-Johnston corporation.
- It's based on the real life F-16.
