It's based on the Mercedes-Benz SSK. It was made from 1928 to 32. It had a straight 6 supercharged 7.1 liter engine that made 200 to 300 horsepower.

Performance[]
In its time it was possibly the greatest sports car. Maximum speed was 190 km/h, which in its time was excellent.
It's still a race car compared to modern average cars, but modern cars don't kill you if you flip over, or have a minor crash. Items like seat belts and collapsible steering columns did not exist until decades after its time. Even a simple roll bar was over a decade away.
