The Chieftain Bandit is a vehicle in Just Cause: Paradiso Islands.
Overview
It is a two-door muscle car, modeled after the 1977 Pontiac Trans Am. It is a legendary vehicle on the islands, being used in a famous car chase between it and a Dalton Malaga. It has a top speed of 120 mph, and is mostly found in areas like Jackson Island. Oddly, even though Jack Harris is a muscle car collector, he does not own one. Joseph Roserheld has said the Baxter Symphony is a better vehicle than this, which Jack likes to hold against him.
Variants
Icebird
A special package offered in 1978, it paints the car an icy blue with special wheels, a turbocharger,
Icebird Edition
and a faster motor. While not as common as the normal Bandit, it is still commonplace to find it around Jackson Island. One can be found at the Dodge Lakehouse.
Racerman
A variant made to compete with the Just Racing muscle car legends such as the Castro Trifecta and
Racerman Edition
the Mann Chimaera, The Racerman has a 390 HP motor, has a supercharger, and can only be found at Bestes Stadt Raceway.
